Lamps, Tank Lamps and Backup Lamps

The dive light is used in particular as lighting for night and cave dives, but also for dives at daytime for example in general for color reproduction, for illuminating columns or underwater movies.

There are different lamp shapes regarding the use or function:

Hand lamp as the main light: Lamp head and batteries in one housing, ideal for the vacation dive
Backup lamp: small hand lamp as a reserve lamp for the emergency case of the main lamp, particularly high illumination time
Tank lamp: Dive torch originally made in the field of technical diving with separate components, the lamp head and the battery tank, connected by a waterproof cable; The battery tank is usually attached to the belly strap of the back plate or compressed air cylinder, while the lamp head is held on the forearm with a Goodman handle in the hand
