Side-mounted swivel.
A side-mounted swivel offers many advantages. The hand position is optimized when the finger is in the carabiner eyelet. Stage and sidemount bottles can be attached and removed more easily, and the eyelet is lighter overall.
Compact Eyelet
On smaller carabiners, the small and organized eyelet is ideal for attaching long hoses, lights, and other accessories without wasting space. Attached items stay closer to the diver, and the carabiner can be positioned and positioned exactly as desired.
