Bladefin

From the racetrack to the diving reef!

Atomic BladeFins have combined a fairly robust blade with unique materials and construction techniques to provide greater power, thrust and speed.
The power loop monocoque frame design is also used in aircraft and Indy racing cars and, combined with the frame rails, ensures maximum power transfer with every hit.

Power Loop Monocoque Structure
The technical term monocoque means “single shell,” with the shell of the structure carrying the majority of the load while the force is applied through the frame rails.
Power Plate
The internal sole plate creates a rigid platform under the foot for better power transfer to the blade while allowing for a soft, comfortable foot pocket.
Vertical Stabilizers
The oversized stabilizers at the end of the fin blade ensure the fin moves straight up and down.
Power Rail
The design of the frame rails on each side of the fin mimics a backbone connected to the monocoque.
